Beginning on January 1, 2012, electronic devices such as TVs, computers, monitors, printers, VCR/DVD players and more will be banned from Illinois landfills. These items must be properly managed through recycling or reuse efforts. To assist with the ban local municipalities are planning 2 electronics collection events in 2012.
