2014 Concrete Street Maintenance

Intermodal Parking Lot Improvements Project

A&R has completed all patching, routing, and sealing in the Intermodal Parking Lot. The installation of new pavement markings is the only major work item yet to be completed. Weather permitting, new parking markings will be applied this week, and the lot will be fully accessible to customers by the end of this week.  

Healey Street Construction Update

A&R Mechanical Services, Inc. has continued to work at the intersection of Sixth St. and Healey St. They have completed reconstruction of the northeast corner of the intersection, and they should finish reconstruction of the west half of the intersection this week. Washington Street Drainage Improvements

Rain has slowed the earth excavation phase of the project. Stark Excavating has completed approximately 50% of the basin construction. With good weather, Stark will quickly get back to work and complete the project on time. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.

Windsor Road Project

Stark Excavating was awarded the City project that would widen the approaches to the bridge on Windsor Road over I-57. Construction began on April 1 and will be complete on October 15, 2014.
