Champaign Firefighters Assist South Side Fifth Grade Students with “Egg Drop” Experiment

Champaign Firefighters provided the instrumental tool in the annual South Side School “Egg Drop.” Firefighters dropped the Fifth Grade science projects of 45 students from Ladder 161 at heights of 15′, 25′ and 65′ to determine if the budding scientists had successfully engineered designs to keep a raw egg from breaking!
