Firefighter Gear Role Play Kit Checkout

Firefighter role-play kits may be checked out to classroom teachers for one-week sessions.  After making reservations at 217.403.7212,  the kit may be picked up on Monday after 8:00 a.m. from Champaign Fire Department Headquarters, 307 S. Randolph Street.  Return the Firefighter role-play kit by 4:00 p.m. on Friday of the same week.   Age appropriate for preschool / kindergarten students,  the contents include:

• Child-sized fire bunker coats and pants
• Child-sized fire helmet, boots, airpack
• Hose and tools
• Radios
• Telephones
• “Smoke,” fire line tape, “sirens”
• National Fire Protection Association’s Pre School Program fire safety lesson plans and songs
