The Training Division provides fireground, emergency medical, and leadership training to CFD personnel in accordance with department and Citywide training plans.
A highly skilled and trained workforce will contribute to a reduction in incident severity. Through the described training, the division ensures that personnel are competent in their duties, safe in their actions, and productive during emergency operations. This Division also manages the department safety program.
