Patrol Operations
Patrol Operations provides the initial response to citizen calls for service and enforces criminal and traffic statutes. The Traffic Services enforces abandoned vehicle ordinances and provides crossing guard program. Animal Control enforces the animal control ordinances.
Operational Support
The Investigations Division investigates all criminal and juvenile cases. Fiscal Administration provides fiscal support to the department including accounts payable, payroll processing and budget coordination.
Professional Standards
The goal of Professional Standards is to assist the department in achieving the highest standards in law enforcement. Three closely related functions are Officer Conduct, Training and Development, and Illinois State accreditation.
