Bullying and Cyber-bullying Prevention

The Champaign Police Department is pleased to offer presentations for educators, youth groups, parents and community organizations on bullying and cyber-bullying prevention.

Due to increased national media attention and an outpour of interest from local educators and school administrators countywide, School Resource Officer Jonathan Westfield developed a public education presentation designed to provide prevention and intervention strategies for bullying behaviors.

The Champaign Police Department is dedicated to keeping our children and teens safe from the devastating effects of bullying and our goal is to collaborate with the community on bringing awareness to this important topic.

To request a presentation please submit a Community Outreach Request form to Rene Dunn, Asst. to the Chief of Police for Community Services.

For more information on bullying prevention, please contact School Resource Officer Jonathan Westfield at westfijd@ci.champaign.il.us .
