Champaign Police Department Officer of the Year 2010
Justus Clinton
Justus Clinton has been selected Officer of the Year for 2010. The selection was based on the recommendation of a selection board representative of all officers.
This is an annual award whereby Champaign Police Officers recommend that officer for the previous calendar year who best represents and demonstrates those distinguishing qualities essential in a competent, excellent police officer.
Officer Clinton’s duty performance, initiative, consistency, demeanor, commitment toward civic and community service, and performance evaluations certainly support this recognition and favorably reflect the values of the Champaign Police Department.
Officer Clinton received his police commission and appointment to the Champaign Police Department in 2003. He is currently assigned to the department’s Patrol Division.
Officer Clinton represents the Champaign Police Department with distinction and exemplifies the characteristics of an excellent police officer.

Jeanine Anglin-Bennett
Jeanine Anglin-Bennett has been selected Employee of the Year for 2010. The selection was based on the recommendation of a selection board representative of all departmental employees.
This is an annual award whereby Champaign Police employees recommend that employee for the previous calendar year who best represents and demonstrates those distinguishing qualities essential in a competent, excellent police employee.
Jeanine excels in her duty performance, initiative, consistency, and demeanor. Her performance evaluations certainly support this recognition and favorably reflect the values of the Champaign Police Department.
Jeanine has been with the Champaign Police Department since July 1972. She currently serves as the Supervisor of the Front Desk.
