Special Event Permits

The police department handles the permits for Special Events in the City. Citizens must fill out these permits and have it on file with the department at least 30 days before the event. These permits are required for:

  • neighborhood block parties
  • parades
  • outdoor parties with live music
  • races
  • any event which uses the public way or is on public property
