Academic Year Permits

Permit Residency Requirement:

In order to purchase a 2015-2016 Academic Year Permit on-street in Areas 1 or 2, you must show proof of residency in the University District Area with a lease for the school year prior to Labor Day.

New Permit Sales:

2015-2016 Academic Year

You may purchase an academic year permit online or in the Parking Programs Office at 702 Edgebrook Drive, beginning in June 2015.

Online Permit Sales

1.    Go to the Online Parking Services Page.

2.    Select Purchase Academic Permit and follow prompts.

3.    Visa, MasterCard, or Discover accepted.

Parking Office Permit Sales

1.    Come to the office between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

2.    Bring the following with you:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Vehicle Registration Card for each vehicle that will be on the permit agreement. You may have a maximum of three (3) vehicles on your account.
  • Payment: Cash, Check, Credit or Debit (VISA, MasterCard & Discover), Money Order accepted.

Note:  We will not sell you a permit without this information.

Permit Rates:

Permit rates vary according to location.  See the Parking Maps page for more information.  Note: Permit rates are subject to change.

Permits are sold for the entire academic year and payment in full is required at the time of purchase.  We do not offer fall or spring semester only permits; however, permits may be returned for a refund of the unused portion minus a 10% administrative fee. Permits cannot be returned within 30 days of expiration.


Summer Parking Permits

Summer 2015 permits will be available in May 2015.

Summer Permits have NO residency and there is no Permit Request List requirement.  All on-street and parking lot spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

New Permit Sales:

Summer 2015 parking permits will go on sale on in May 2015.  You may purchase your Summer 2015 permit by going online or you may come into the Public Works Department.

2.    Select Purchase Summer Permit and follow prompts.

3.    Visa, MasterCard, or Discover accepted.

Parking Office Permit Sales

Summer permits are $105 for any location.  Note: Permit rates are subject to change.


Short-Term/Temporary Permits

Short term/temporary permits are available for 1 to 30 days for parking in the residential area of the University District. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Permits are non-refundable and non-renewable. Customers requiring permit parking in excess of 30 days should contact the Parking Programs Office to discuss parking options.

Permit Rates:

  • 1 to 4 day permit is $7.50 per day
  • 5 to 30 day permit is $35.00

Permit Sales:

Short Term/Temporary Permits are sold from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Parking Programs Office. The following information is needed to obtain a permit and may be submitted in person, by phone or by email:

  • Completed application (see above)
  • Copy of valid, current vehicle registration card
