Burglary Suspect Arrested

Champaign Police arrested a suspect that may be responsible for over 20 burglaries in southwest Champaign. The Champaign Police Department have been working diligently to identify the person(s) involved in a series of residential burglaries in southwest Champaign, specifically in the Cherry Hills, Ironwood, Turnberry and Greencroft subdivisions.

Through investigative efforts, detectives developed probable cause to arrest DEMARIO T. KING for Residential Burglary on yesterday at 8:30 pm in the 2000 block of Country Squire in Urbana. Detectives will continue to investigate these burglaries to determine if others are involved.
