MLK Countywide Celebration Event

On January 15, City staff, Council Members, and the HRC Commissioners attended the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Countywide Celebration at Krannert Center for Performing Arts.  The youth recipients of MLK Scholarships were announced, and three community members were awarded for their service to the community.


Equity and Engagement Helps Displaced Residents

On January 18, Justice Victim Advocates (Equity and Engagement) staff delivered meals to displaced residents of Champaign Park Apartments.  Families that are in need will continue to be given essential necessities like toiletries, hygiene products, covers/blankets, food, and more.
