Saturday evening, Champaign Firefighters provided autographs to congregation members attending the first annual Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church Community Resource Fair. Well over 75 members attended the festival with a dozen agencies providing information. Fire Department’s Life Safety Division opened a booth with resources and information for adults and youth alike.  

City of Champaign welcomed thousands of UI students including the Marching Illini, UI basketball players, and incoming freshmen to UI Quad Day from noon to 4 PM on Sunday, August 26.
