University Avenue Lane Closure (between Chestnut Street and Market Street)

In order to install transformer and electrical service, Ameren Illinois will close one westbound lane of University Avenue between Chestnut Street and Market Street. The closure will begin on Monday, May 24, and will reopen on Monday, May 28, 2021, weather permitting. Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.


New Street Road Closure (between Columbia Avenue and Vine Street)

In order to complete the construction of a sanitary sewer extension, SNC Construction will close New Street between Columbia Avenue and Vine Street. The closure will begin on Tuesday, May 18, and will reopen on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Columbia Avenue at the intersection of New Street may be reduced to one lane.
