The final home in the Taylor Thomas Subdivision has been sold to a homebuyer. NPD and Legal staff attended the home closing on July 24th to transfer the property. HOME funds were used to assist both Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County with construction costs and the homebuyer with down payment assistance.

To allow for the connection of Olympian Drive to Duncan Road, the City of Champaign will be closing Duncan Road between Meridian Drive and the I-74 overpass. In order to install new storm sewer, Feutz Contractors closed Church Street between Randolph Street and Neil Street. The road closure began at 7 a.m. Monday, July 27 and due to utility conflicts will remain closed until 3 p.m. Thursday, July 30.
