Email Subscription 2007 Entry Level Police Officer Recruitment
The City accepted applications for its Entry Level Police Officer eligibility list through August 16, 2007. The Police Department and Human Resources Department applied new strategies to recruit a diverse applicant group, including a cable TV commercial featuring Police Officers Andre Davis and Alison Ferguson. A total of 260 applications were received, including fifty-seven (57) minorities and forty-four (44) females. These results meet the City’s Affirmative Action goals for police officer recruitment.
