2008 Hero and Helping Hands 9th Annual Citizens’ Recognition

On April 15, 2008, prior to the Council Meeting, City of Champaign Fire and Police will honor citizens who have provided exemplary help in emergency situations. A cookie and punch reception will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the City Building atrium. Council Members, department heads, and nominating police and fire officers are encouraged to be on hand for the reception. Honorees will be recognized at 7:00 p.m. at the start of the Council Meeting.
