Email Subscription Downtown Parking Validation Program Kicks Off
The validation program for parking in the Hill Street Deck officially kicked off on July 1, following a brief trial period with Jim Gould Restaurant. The following businesses are participating in the program as of July 21:

- Christopher’s Fine Jewelry
- Busey Bank
- Cakes on Walnut
- Hada Cosmetic Medicine
- Wind, Water & Light
- Circles Boutique
- Rebecca’s
- Carrie’s
Participating businesses may choose to provide validation tickets in any denomination (25-cents to an unlimited amount) by contacting the parking deck manager who produces the tickets at the deck. Businesses then distribute the validations to customers. The parking deck’s computer system keeps track of validations used according to the business by which they were issued, and the businesses will be billed based on the value used at the end of each month. For the first year of the program, the billings will be discounted by 25%. Participating businesses are also provided with a window sticker (see graphic) that lets downtown customers know that they are participating in the validation program.
