Ameren contractors will begin remediation work at the 5th and Hill site, location of the former Champaign Manufactured Gas Plant, on January 25, 2017. In order to complete gas service work, Ameren will be closing one westbound lane of Bradley Avenue between McKinley Avenue and Mattis Avenue. The lane closure will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in the area.
